What is Zweet?

Zweet is a mobile app available on iOS and Android. It makes it simple and easy to save on your favorite grocery products without the hassle of finding, cutting and collecting coupons – let alone bringing them all to the store! Zweet is currently available in Canada (Quebec inclusively).

How does it work?

Browse Zweet’s weekly offers and purchase your favourite products at any store. Next, use the Zweet App to snap a picture of your entire receipt, from top to bottom. Within 48 hours, your claim will be processed, approved and deposited into your Zweet account. Once your Zweet account reaches a minimum of $20, you’ll be able to request a cheque that will be mailed straight to your door. It’s that simple!

How do I receive the Zweet offers?

Once you’ve downloaded the app, simply tap on the “Sign up” button on the Zweet app’s main page and provide the information required.

Can I have more than one account?

No. For safety and security reasons, we’ve limited accounts to 1 per person and 2 per household.

I’m not receiving the account confirmation email – what should I do?

Please check your spam folder as emails sometimes end up there. If you can’t find it, simply email us at We’ll have a new one sent your way in no time.

Where can I change or simply see my profile details?

Once in the app, tap on the upper left-hand icon and you will be able to view your account profile details, receipt status, Zweet earnings, submitted receipts and payment history.

How do I change my password?

Once you are completely signed out of the app, click on "Sign in with your email". Then click on "Forgot your password".

Receipts & Claiming Zweet Deals

How often do new offers come out?

New offers are published every Wednesday and have to be claimed before the following Tuesday at midnight, EST. Please note that the product purchase date appearing on your receipt and the date upon which you upload your receipt to Zweet must both be included in the deal’s validity period.

How long do offers last?

Unless an offer is extended or an exception is made for a particular product, Zweet offers last one week - from Wednesday to Tuesday at midnight, EST.

What needs to be on my receipt in order for my claims to be accepted?

The most important part of having your receipt accepted lies in us being able to properly identify the products you purchased. Once again, it’s important to capture your whole receipt from top to bottom.Besides that, we need to be able to clearly identify the product you’re claiming on the receipt thanks to clearly legible things like UPC codes, brand names, the product’s exact name or an easily decipherable code. Products itemized generically under names like “Fruit”, “Vegetables”, “Yogurt”, “Detergent” etc. will not be accepted as they don’t give us the information we need to confirm that you purchased the right product. Here’s a great example of a receipt that gives us all the experience we need.

What type of receipt can I use to claim my offers?

You can claim your offers with any machine-printed and clearly legible receipt indicating which products have been purchased. Please remember NOT to submit your credit card receipt, we need the detailed store receipt to validate your claims.

At which stores can I shop?

Any store where our Zweet products are sold: grocery stores, convenience stores or large box retailers; as long as they issue a machine-printed receipt that clearly indicates which products were purchased.

Can I earn Zweet savings on products purchased online?

Yes, it is possible to earn Zweet savings on items purchased from online retailers but it is important to note that only an itemized packing slip will be accepted as proof of purchase.

Here’s what needs to be clearly included on your packing slip:

  • Date
  • Store name or logo
  • Receipt total
  • Items, including their individual prices

Once you receive your products, simply snap a picture of your entire packing slip using the Zweet app, as you would any receipt. If the items you’re claiming are clearly listed and fall within our indicated deadlines, we’ll happily add your Zweet savings to your account.

Please note that online purchases are subject to the same deadlines as regular in-store purchases. Therefore, your claim must be received by Tuesday at 11:59 pm HNE, as usual.

Unfortunately, Zweet cannot accept alternate order slips such as email order confirmations and receipt PDFs. We require a complete itemized packing slip in order to verify that members have indeed completed their purchase and received their orders. For more information about this, please consult our Terms & Conditions.

How do I capture my receipt?

When you’re on the Zweet app’s main screen, you’ll notice a camera icon at the bottom of the screen. Click on “Capture your receipt.” Then click on “Got It? Go Capture!” Your phone’s camera will automatically be activated. From then on, all you have to do is focus your camera lens by tapping a finger lightly on the screen and snap a clear picture of your entire receipt within the frame & guidelines provided on your screen.

Do I need to capture the entire receipt?

Yes, Zweet will need your entire receipt from top to bottom – including store information, logo, date, time, all purchases, total and total balance – in order to validate your purchases, approve your receipt and transfer money into your Zweet account.

What if my receipt is too long?

Once you’ve taken your first picture, you’ll be given the option to “Add a section” to your receipt and snap a picture of the remaining sections. Once all the sections have been captured, click on the “Finish” button.

Do you accept wrinkled or torn receipts?

Take a look at the picture you’ve snapped for us – can you read all of the receipt’s details? Then so can we! But we’ll still need you to keep your receipt in the best shape possible in order to make it easier and quicker for us to validate and verify your purchases.

How many receipts can I upload and submit at a time?

Please submit only one receipt at a time and refer to the Offer Details to find out what the maximum number of articles you can redeem per offer is for the product you’ve bought. You can also save some time by selecting all of your offers at the same time, as long as they all appear on the same receipt.

How will I know if my receipt has been accepted?

It can take our analysts up to 48 hours to process your receipt. Once it has been processed you will receive an automated response via email. You can also check on the status of your claim by clicking on the “Profile” icon and then on “Receipts”.

What if my receipt has been rejected? Can I try again?

Yes you can. When a receipt is rejected, the offer you claimed reappears on your offer list so you can claim it again. If you think your receipt was wrongly rejected, please don’t hesitate to contact us at for a clear explanation as to why it was rejected in the first place.

How do I make sure I’m buying the right item?

Make sure to read the offer details to get all of the necessary information on the product: brand, variety, quantity, weight, type, flavour etc.

Can I claim multiple offers per receipt?

Absolutely! In fact, you’re encouraged to do so. As every receipt can only be submitted once, it’s important to select every offer that applies to your receipt so you can maximize your earnings every time you shop.

Can I claim an offer twice by buying multiple products?

All offers have different requirements unique to every offer. Some offers are limited to one unit item per user while some may specify that the product can be bought and claimed several times during the valid period. Under these circumstances, you’ll have the option of clicking on the + sign at the right of the deal. That option will be presented to you when you select the products you wish to claim, right after having photographed your receipt. Here’s an example of what your screen might look like.

How do I indicate which products I am claiming?

Once you’ve snapped a picture of your entire receipt, Zweet’s list of weekly offers will appear. Simply tap on the offers you’ve purchased and tap “Submit”. If this product allows for multiple redemptions, you may also opt to click on the + icon at the right of the deal in order to indicate that you’ve purchased this product more than once.

Can I combine a Zweet offer with any other in-store promotion or coupon?

Yes you can, unless otherwise specified.

What if it my offer is expired by the time I upload my receipt?

We’re sorry, but if the offer has expired by the time you upload your receipt, we won’t be able to transfer the earnings to your account. Most Zweet offers are only valid for 7 days, from Wednesday to Tuesday at midnight EST. This is why we encourage our Zweeters to quickly upload their receipts after they’ve purchased their favorite items. Signing up for our emails and push notifications can also help you keep on top of your Zweet offers so you never miss an opportunity to earn!

Why do you ask me a question after I’ve selected the Zweet products I want to claim?

We ask those questions in order to know a bit more about your tastes, your habits and all of the other little things that will help us better able to cater our deals and products to your needs, preferences and shopping habits. This allows us to modify our behaviour and the app in accordance with what suits you best. That having been said, answering these questions is always optional, so if you rather not answer – you’ll always have the opportunity to skip it.

Fraudulent Activity

Is it possible to trick the system? How do you prevent fraudulent activity?

We know you would never try to do that, but do keep in mind that we double and triple-check all receipts in order to make sure that they are valid and authentic. We also have other automated checks in place to monitor the system and spot abnormal activity. If we see any signs of receipt tampering, double claims, trying to use receipts that are not yours or other sorts of fraudulent activity that go against our Terms of Use, then we’ll have to immediately suspend your account. It’s important to us and our providers that the Zweet community stay clean and wholesome, that way we can all benefit from these great offers for years to come!

Is there any other reason for which my account might be suspended?

There are a few other things that go against our Terms of Use: submitting purposely inaccurate information, submitting false copies of receipts, trying to earn money on products you haven’t purchased, claiming earnings for purchases made by another person, intentionally obscuring dates or details on your receipt, infringing on Zweet’s copyright or assuming the character or identity of another... well, you get the idea. But the bottom line is that if you use Zweet normally simply to save money on your personal purchases, you’ll never have to worry! We just want to keep you happy and earning!

Cashing Out

Where can I see how much I’ve earned?

If you tap on the icon at the top left-hand side of your Zweet app, you’ll have access to all of your account information – including your available balance, pending balance and total earned. This is also where you’ll want to head if you’re looking to cash out on your Zweet earnings.

Do I have to accumulate a certain amount to get the money I’ve earned?

You need a minimum of $20 in your Zweet account before cashing out. Once you cash out, we will mail you a cheque.

How can I claim my earnings?

Once you’ve hit the $20 mark, tap on the icon on the top left-hand corner of the Zweet app. and then tap the “Cash Out” icon under your Account Balance. Provide us with the necessary information and we’ll have the money sent your way in no time.

Do I have to cash it all in at once?

Yes, once you tap “Cash Out” on your Zweet earnings, we will ask you to provide us with your postal address in the following format:

We will then send you a cheque totalling all of your funds. While you’re at it, this is a great time to make sure that the name provided in your Account Details is properly spelled as this is the name to which your cheque will be issued – a small mistake here could uselessly extend the payment period so check carefully!

How long will it take to receive my payment?

Check payments should arrive within a 10-15 day delay.

Are you storing my bank information?

Absolutely not. We will never ask for personal banking information, only for a physical mailing address to which we can send your cheque.

What if I don’t cash out for a long time, are there fees? Will I lose my money?

For your account to remain active, you must use the Zweet Services at least once per calendar year. If you fail to successfully claim a Featured Product for twelve (12) consecutive months, your account will be considered "inactive". Once your account is inactive and if your balance is less than $20, we reserve the right, to the extent allowed by applicable law, to close your account which will result in the total loss of all your credits and points. Once your account is inactive and if your balance is $20 or greater, we reserve the right, to the extent allowed by applicable law, to deduct a $2 monthly fee (« Inactivity Fee ») until the balance is less than $20 and then proceed to the closing of your account which will result in the total loss of all your credits and points. Depending on applicable federal, state, provincial and local tax laws, your withdrawal of credits may be subject to taxes. You will be solely responsible for any and all tax liability arising out of such withdrawal.
